Note that you can also have your say as to who will move from club A to club B come January 2019 if you simply visit this site.
Toby Alderweireld to Manchester United
Manchester United’s search for a top quality centre-half is well documented. In his time at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho has invested heavily in some centre-backs but his signings have failed to do the job that the manager wanted. Coming with Premier League experience, Toby Alderweireld would be the perfect signing for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United. The deal for Toby Alderweireld seems great for both club (recipient) and player. We have already stated why moving for Toby Alderweireld will be great for Manchester United. For the player, the move will be perfect as he has been struggling to get into the Tottenham team not just because there are other better players in front of him but that he has fallen out of favour with the manager. As such, a move away from White Hart Lane will be perfect for Toby to resurrect his career and January seems to be the right time for him to move.
Mario Hermoso to Real Madrid
Mario Hermoso graduated from the Real Madrid academy and was added to the Real Madrid Castilla team. However, he was deemed not good enough to make the transition into the Real Madrid first team and as such, he was sold to RCD Espanyol. At Espanyol, the 23-year-old showed that as long as he gets the necessary minutes on the pitch, he can be the great defender he was once touted as during his years at the Real Madrid academy. In light of the impressive performances of Mario Hermoso, the player’s former club i.e. Real Madrid is showing strong signs that it will re-sign him in the January transfer window. For Real Madrid, it makes perfect sense to sign Mario as their captain Sergio Ramos is ageing while the other central defenders in the team such as Nacho and Raphael Varane are all injury prone.
Eric Bailly to Arsenal
When Eric Bailly arrived at Old Trafford, many Manchester United fans thought he was the reincarnation of Nemanja Vidic. However, he has failed to replicate the impressive performances that he put in during his first season at the club. His recent poor performances have seen Eric Bailly fall out of favour with the manager and as long as the manager is at the club, there is surely no future for Bailly. It is for this reason why Eric Bailly is seeking a move away from the club. Arsenal is showing much interest in the player and if it manages to raise the funds to pry him away from Old Trafford, then by the end of the January transfer window, Eric Bailly will be an Arsenal player.
