The Gunners lost their first two games against Manchester City and Chelsea but since then, they are yet to lose any in all competition overall- although they are yet to win anything in the last three games, drawing thrice. On Thursday evening, they failed to win their home Europa League fixture against Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon, after drawing previously against Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal vs Wolves Team News:

Arsenal will be without Danny Welbeck and Stephan Lichtsteiner after both were forced off injured in Thursday’s draw with Sporting Lisbon.

Welbeck broke the ankle in the first half of the game and is now expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season while Lichtsteiner limped out of the Europa League clash with a muscular issue. On the other hand, Mohamed Elneny (thigh) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) will also miss the game due to injury issues. Veteran left-back Nacho Monreal, however, is expected to return to the lineup after missing one month’s football while Matteo Guendouzi is back in domestic contention after serving a one-match ban due to a red card in Carabo Cup.
