Premier League Game week 7 saw the two undefeated teams Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC share the spills at Stamford Bridge in the big match. Tottenham, Manchester City and Arsenal all won their matches while Manchester United lost against West Ham. Here are the top goal of the week:
3) Eden Hazard (Chelsea FC) vs Liverpool FC:
Eden Hazard is surely the best player in the Premier League right now, if not the whole world. He proved it on Wednesday in the League Cup match at Anfield with a brilliant goal, and he did it again at Stamford Bridge against Liverpool in the league. He scored one more beautiful goal to give the hosts the lead. After Mateo Kovacic found the Belgian from the centre of the pitch, the World Cup star started running with the ball unmarked, with a burst of speed. He entered the box and fired in a low shot across the goal with his left, that gave Allison no chance to save.
2) Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton FC) vs Fulham FC:
The Fulham match was a memorable one for the Sigurdsson for more reasons than one. He scored a brace after missing a penalty. But his first goal could easily have been a goal of the week on any other week. After Jonjoe Kenny’s attempted cross from the right was thwarted back by the Fulham defence, the ball fell nicely for Icelander right outside the box. Sigurdsson hit a first time left footed grounder that curled into the bottom left corner leaving everyone stranded.
1) Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool FC) vs Chelsea FC:
Eden Hazard was not the only one who scored a goal each on both midweek and weekend against the same opposition. Daniel Sturridge did the same too. If his overhead kick in midweek wasn’t good enough, he scored a sensational goal at the Bridge against his former employers. When Liverpool was trailing 0-1, with 2 minutes to go, Shaqiri found Sturridge outside the penalty area. The England forward saw Kepa slightly off his line and decided to take matters into his own hands (or legs). He hit a left footed shot that sailed over a full stretched Chelsea keeper. The shot left everyone mesmerised as it crashed into the top right corner. Sturridge’s strike is our Goal of the Week.
