Borussia Dortmund sensation Christian Pulisic is speculated to join Premier League side Chelsea, according to various reports as new manager is looking to add players as he settles down in his new surroundings.

The Blues are still said to be interested inspite of a £65 million bid rebuffed in the summer during the transfer window. The new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be a big admirer of the youngster and wants to bring him in Stamford Bridge. Although the Italian is gearing up as Pulisic to be one of his prime targets, the German club are keen to hold on to one of their main stars.

Jorginho, Rob Green, Mateo Kovacic and Kepa Arrizabalaga were signed during the transfer window, but the most important attacking business Chelsea did was to keep Eden Hazard at the club despite of links to Real Madrid, especially after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. The window also saw the departure of Thibaut Courtois, who ended up joining Real Madrid.

But the 19 year old can become a Chelsea player in the Winter window, if the English side step up for their quest. Pulisic, the US International has been regarded one of the players to look for the future as he has emerged as the best talent in US history for a long time. He started his career Brackley Town before moving to Dortmund in 2015. So far the young midfielder has made 21 appearances for USA and is a pivotal player for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Pulisic is also wanted by Sarri as their has been a certain dip in scoring goals among their strikers, with Alvaro Morata having a horrific first season in the Premier League, Chelsea boss is keen to land someone who will score goals for them.

Chelsea have had a winning start to the league as they beat Huddersfield in the opening week, and will face Arsenal this week as their season progresses.
