Premier League: Arsenal vs Manchester City Preview, Line-ups, Betting Odds and Live Streaming

Last year’s runaway champions Manchester City will be making the trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal in the last match of the Premier League Gameweek 1 on Sunday.

Arsenal will be playing in the Premier League for the first time in 22 years with no Arsene Wenger on the reserve bench. Sunday officially marks the beginning of the post Wenger era at the North London club. Spaniard Unai Emery will be the centre of attraction as he looks to start a new era at his new club.
Coming to England with 3 back to back UEFA Europa League titles and last season’s domestic treble with PSG, Arsenal fans will be hoping for a fresh start under Emery. For starters he was successful in signing a handful of quality players in the Summer. The list includes Swiss captain Stephan Lichsteiner, German keeper Bernd Leno, Greek defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and Uruguay’s world cup star Lucas Torreira.
Arsenal finished last season at their lowest position in recent times at 6th. In addition to that they got knocked out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round and failed in the final stages of both UEFA Europa League and EFL Cup.

City on the other hand are coming of their record breaking Premier League winning season. They amassed 100 points last season, after becoming runaway winners. They also won the EFL Cup defeating Arsenal and reached the last 8 of the Champions League.
Surprisingly Pep Guardiola’s team have not been remarkably quiet in the transfer market, buying a solitary Riyadh Mahrez from Leicester City. In spite of that they are once again tipped by the experts to win and retain the Premiership crown.
