Arsenal have ended their pre season on a positive note after a comprehensive and clinical 2-0 win over Italian club Lazio in Stockholm on Saturday.

The Gunners were in Dublin after their Singapore trip and then made a trip to Stockholm for the Lazio match. In the match, Arsenal boss Unai Emery started with Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner, both the players made their first appearance after joining the Gunners this summer.
It was Reiss Nelson who gave the Gunners an early lead, after Iwobi’s shot struck the post, Nelson converted the rebound and Arsenal led 1-0. It was the same till half time, but Pierre Emerick Aubameyang extended the Gunners lead in the second half as his deflected shot ended up in the back of the net.

A comfortable 2-0 win means Arsenal end their pre season on a high after a blockbuster start to it with a 8-0 win over Boreham Wood in July. Since then there have been a couple of draws and one each of those draws resulted a penalty victory and defeat. In between the draws, Arsenal managed a thumping victory over PSG, Unai Emery’s old team.
The Spanish coach has made his experiments and so far it has looked quite positive under his guidance. There are definite problems speciallyt in the defense that they need to sort out before the start of the season.
Gunners start their season with a meet against Manchester City on next Sunday, who are fresh from a Community Shield win over Chelsea, as Aguero scored botht the goals for Guardiola’s side.
Emery ont he other hand is still open to sign another player before the transfer window closes early ahead of the start of the season.
