Arsenal are interested in bringing Mexico’s latest talent Hirving Lozano and have enquired about his availability, according to reports.
The Mexican scored in Mexico’s win against Germany
Mexican star Hirving Lozano has been a revelation and has been one of the hot prospects after his heroics for Mexico in the World Cup, where he scored a massive goal against Germany to seal the Mexicans historic win over World Champions.
His notable performances has gained interests among the European big boys and the London club is said to be keen to land the 22 year old at the Emirates. Lozano had a terrific season with PSV coming to the World Cup, where he scored 17 league goals on his debut season and helped PSV to win the league title.
He has been a livewire at the wings and his pace, skill and other qualities will definitely enhance Arsenal’s strength. And sports outlet TMW has reported that the new Arsenal boss Unai Emery has given green signal to bring the Mexican in the Premier League.
But the Gunners hopes can be subdued if Barcelona or Real Madrid come across as they are also said to be interested.
And the 22-year-old Mexican claimed he would jump at the chance to play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid, which could dent Arsenal’s chances should either of the Spanish clubs make bids.
Lozano said, “The truth is I’m very happy that the names of very important teams are being linked with me. When I am asked which I prefer I have to say both. I have to make sure I stay calm, take things slowly and concentrate on having a good World Cup. I’m really enjoying it.”
Arsenal have been also linked with some other wingers as either of Gelson Martins, Cristian Pavon and Goncalo Guedes have been speculated to join the North London club by the end of the transfer window.
