With a very talented bunch of players, led by Tottenham star man Christian Eriksen, Denmark will be battling it out for the second place in their group behind France. If they can play according to their potential, something they displayed during qualifications, Denmark will be expected to reach the round of 16.

Denmark holds the unique record of winning a major international title without actually qualifying in the first place. In the 1992 UEFA Euro Cup, original Group 4 qualifiers Yugoslavia were banned due to the outbreak of civil war and thus the runners up Denmark qualified at their expense. After finishing 2nd in Group A, they went on to beat Holland on penalties in the semis, before defeating Germany in the final to lift their one and only major International crown till date.
