Arsenal FC vs Burnley FC: Preview, Team News, Probable Line Up, Betting Odds and TV Guide

An emotional occasion for the Gunners when Arsene Wenger will manage them for one last time at Emirates.

Emotions are expected to run high as Arsenal FC will take on fellow Europa League spot contenders Burnley FC on Sunday. This will mark the legendary Arsene Wenger’s final match as Arsenal manager at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal FC vs Burnley FC Preview:

After a disappointing semi-final defeat to Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Europa League, this match will literally have Arsenal’s season on the line as a defeat will mean their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Europa League will be dealt a big blow. Burnley are 3 points behind The Gunners with one more game played and a victory for Sean Dyche’s side will bring them level on points with their Sunday’s opponents(before their last match against AFC Bournemouth on 13th May). Given how dismal Arsenal’s away form has been this season, a defeat can mean the worst for them. Arsenal’s last two matches are both away matches at former champions Leicester City in midweek and relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town on the last day.

Burnley FC, on the other hand, will want to win this match at any cost in an effort to play European football for the first time since their only venture in the 1960-61 season when they reached the quarterfinals of the European Cup.
