The jubilation of a Champions League semi-final place was very much present at Anfield when the fans cheered their heroes while hosting AFC Bournemouth this evening in a crucial Premier League tie.

Liverpool maintained sheer dominance since the very first second of the game and Sadio Mane took only 7 minutes to open the account when he notched home the rebound that fell to his path despite Asmir Begovic’s best efforts to save the winger’s early header from a stunning cross of skipper Jordan Henderson. The Reds wasted a few more in the first half and failed to increase the margin.

They, however, retained their supremacy even after the break and soon doubled the lead via red-hot Mohamed Salah whose looping header ended up into the back of the net from a majestic cross of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The teenager was arguably the man of the match with his exquisite attacking flair as well as defensive composure all evening. Roberto Firmino, too, joined the party when he collected the ball from amazing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and slotted home calmly to make it 3-0 for his side and registered another comprehensive win at Anfield.
