Amidst all the hue and cry about the star, Jurgen Klopp brushed aside the rumours regarding Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool. The Egyptian attacker has been pretty prolific since his transfer from AS Roma in the last summer. The Egyptian winger is currently topping the goalscoring charts in the Premier League with 29 goals. Harry Kane has a lot of catch up to do as the Tottenham Hotspur striker is sniffing around in the second positions with 25 goals.

Salah’s brilliant performance has been the talk of the town and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp thinks the player is already feeling home at Anfield and he is the right kind of player for Liverpool. “I know that Mo feels really good here, and he knows that our style of play is perfect for him.”

Liverpool are on the verge of creating history as they knocked out Manchester City from the UEFA Champions League and became the only team from the English soil to book a semifinal berth in Europe’s premier competition.

Salah’s contribution in the Champions League perhaps the icing on the cake for the Reds as the 25 year old consolidated his position in the team with eight strikes in 10 Champions League matches including a valuable one in the second leg of the quarterfinal against Manchester City.

Klopp also added he had watched Salah since his playing days at FC Basel. “I must stress that we have an outstanding scouting department. They always told us: ‘Sign him!”

“And you could see when he was playing alongside Edin Dzeko at Roma that he can kick the ball around.”
