Arsenal travel to Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday to salvage the something in the remainder of the season.

Injury and Team News:

Arsenal are without Santi Cazorla as a long term absentee, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also set to miss the trip to North East. David Ospina is missing with an ankle problem and Petr Cech is set to start for the Gunners while Aubameyang may be back to lead the line. Mohammed Elneny was sent off last match, but Arsenal’s appeal against the sent off was appealed and the decision has been overturned, hence the Egyptian will be available for selection.

For the hosts, there is no such injury concerns. Right back Jesus Gamez has some fitness issues but the Spaniard has been out of action for most part of the season so far.



Gunners are on a four match winning streak in the league and will be eyeing to continue that. They have no realistic chance of finishing in the top four but Arsene Wenger will be hoping his team to finish off the season on a high.

Newcastle are on a three-game winning streak of their own, the first time they have achieved that in the Premier League since the November 2014, to push them into the top half of the table.
