Setting the Scene:

RCB won their last match at home against the Kings XI Punjab, while Rajasthan managed a scrappy win against the Delhi Daredevils. Bangalore lost their first match against KKR while the Rajasthan side lost theirs against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

A rejuvenated RCB saw their team back on track against Punjab as AB de Villiers fired. Bowling for them has also been improving as Umesh Yadav has become their supremo in attack. So it is a perfect time for them to wrack up another win at their fortress, at the Chinnaswamy. Virat Kohli and his men will be hoping to put up a better batting display from their top order though as their top haven’t clicked yet.

For RR, it will be a test for their bowling unit against the big hitters of RCB at their own backyard. Ajinkya Rahane has impressed in his short stint as a captain but his work will be cut out on Sunday and in the coming days, as the Royals are ready to play three games in five days period.

Team News:

RCB are expected to continue with their young contingent of Washington Sundar and Mandeep Singh in the team, but Sarfaraz Khan may will have to make way for Murugan Ashwin if there is any late change in selections.

For the visitors, Jofra Archer is back in training and is in contention to make debut in the IPL. In that case Ben Laughlin probably will have to make way for the highly rated all rounder.
