Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is in Manchester United radar for a long time now.

Manchester United’s pursuit of Gareth Bale has been boosted as according to reports, Jose Mourinho has managed to convince the Real Madrid Wizard to join United.

The Welsh winger has been a primary target for the Red Devils but the English outfit has failed to bring him back to English soil for the last couple of seasons.

But latest reports have been pretty encouraging and United might try to secure the services of the winger in the next summer. Injury has curtailed his game time this season but despite missing a large part of the ongoing season there has been a positive output as he has found the net nine times in 14 starts in the La Liga this term.

Jose Mourinho is planning to clear the deadwood at the Old Trafford and is set to overhaul his squad. Mourinho had tried to bring the player before the European Supercup in August at the start of this season but Bale decided to give it another shot at the Santiago Bernabeu.

But life has come to a standstill as he has mostly remained on the bench in a number of important games including both legs of the Champions League last 16 ties against Paris Saint Germain.

Zidane currently has a plethora of options at his disposal as both Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez have stepped up with some brilliant performances. so the Real Madrid gaffer might sanction his departure as it seems.

Bale joined Los Blancos in 2013 for a world record fee of €100 million but he hasn’t managed to justify his price tag completely. Mourinho has been on the lookout for a winger to feed his no. 9 Romelu Lukaku and Bale could be the perfect option.

Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial all have been stationed on the right side of the attack but none of them has managed to impress Mourinho. The gaffer is an avid admirer of the winger and would be delighted to offer him a chance to resurrect his career once again.

Real’s performance have been pretty shaky as they are currently trailing 15 points behind league leader Barcelona who have been pretty dominating in the Spanish top tier this season.

Florentino Perez is looking to bolster his squad in the summer and it seems he is ready to part ways with the 28 years old Wales international.

Alexis Sanchez moved to the Old Trafford in January and it could be the time for another high profile transfer for Manchester United.
