Arsenal star Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been hailed by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for his sportsmanship during the Gunners’ match against Stoke on Sunday.
The Gunners won 3-0 at the Emirates against Stoke and all the goals came late in the match. It was heading towards another frustrating afternoon at the Emirates but the tide turned when Ozil was tripped by Martins Indi and the North London side was awarded a penalty. Aubameyang converted it to give them a lead and then added a second one from a volley.
Their gesture was hailed by Arsene Wenger
Arsenal was awarded another penalty late in the game, and the Gabonese striker gave up his chance to score a hat trick and instead let Alexandre Lacazette take the spot kick to ‘aid’ his confidence. The Frenchman converted the spot kick and this amazing gesture for his teammate has been hailed by Wenger.
When asked if he was surprised by it, the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger replied, “No, because I know they have a good understanding.
“That shows as well the state of our society, that we are surprised. I like that [gesture], it can only make the team stronger,” the Gunners manager added.

“Laca is back, and I know I scored twice so I can let him shoot,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s good for his confidence.”
Aubameyang has already netted 5 goals for the Gunners in six matches after his January deadline day move from Borussia Dortmund, while Lacazette who came back from an injury also has got his 10th league goal of the season.
There was another interesting thing that Auba revealed and that was the haircut of his that had a name ‘Marina’ shaved on the side of his head.
The Gunners hotshot described that it was for his grandmother who recently passed away.
