A treat to footballing world awaits as Brazil will lock horn against World Champions Germany on Tuesday in an International Friendly in Berlin.
Emre Can, Thomas Muller and Mesut Ozil are injured and won’t take any part in the match for Germany. Coach Low said that Ilkay Gundogan will return in the team while both the keepers Kevin Trapp and Bernd Leno will play the either half.
For the Brazil side, Fernandinho can come in to the side, while another player who is knocking on the door is Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino. He is also back to Germany and coach Tite may give Firmino a longer game time. Miranda scored in the last game against Russia and is expected to get the nod ahead of Marquinhos.
This is the first time the two team’s meet after that humongous defeat of Brazil in the 2014 World Cup Semi Final. The 7-1 thumping on the night still must be vivid in Brazilians’ scar and they will be eyeing to put at least some relief to that.
The German coach Low although said that particular match will not have any impact on his players and it had no effect on the next day even. So it has to be seen how the approach is. As per as the South Americans, they outclassed Russia in the last match, and now will have to handle another home support against them. The mental strength of Tite’s side will also be tested as they vow to feel the other side of the story this time around, the brighter side.
