France 2 Colombia 3

It is the shock of the friendlies so far as Les Blues crumbled at home from a two goal lead as Colombia rallied past them in Paris.

Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud gave France the lead from a David Ospina howler while Lemar slotted a superb strike home to double the advantage for them. Luis Muriel immediately though pulled one back, but it was Radamel Falcao in France who scored the equalizer for the Colombians. To add more misery, Colombia were awarded a penalty after Umtiti fouled in the box, and Quintero converted it to complete an epic comeback for the South Americans.

Argentina 2 Italy 0

Italy met Argentina at the Etihad stadium in Manchester and the South Americans were victorious 2-0. Italy, who are not in the world cup after their tragic loss against Sweden were by far the second best side on the night.
