Transfer News: Prermier League club are ready to raid for Fekir in the Summer

Arsenal will have to pay £45 million for the 24 year old.

Nabil Fekir is going to be a hot prospect in summer and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the scenario and preparing a move for the Frenchman in the summer, according to reports in England.

English Outlet Mirror reports that the Gunners are eyeing to land the Lyon midfielder before the World Cup to strengthen their squad which can bid for the Premier League next season. It has been a disastrous season for the Gunners in the League as they are currently 6th in the table, with their Champions League hopes next season rely solely on the ongoing Europa League campaign.

It is high time that Arsenal fill the void of the squad as there has been many players that have left in the winter transfer window.

And it is regarded that Fekir is someone the Gunners want desperately after the midfielder’s outstanding season with the French club this term. He has netted 19 times for them already in this season and has been a key player for Lyon. Arsenal will have to pay £45 million for the 24 year old and his agent has also hinted that the player is open to a move in the summer.

Fekir’s current Lyon deal is due to expire in 2020 and his agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, has suggested they will entertain the idea of leaving the club this summer.

“If at the end of the season, and this is not the case today, there was a decision to be made, then we would sit down with President Aulas and we would find the right solution,” he told Le Dauphine Libere.

The French International is a player who is strong in both hold up play and has good pace as well. Along with that his long shot ability, set pieces and dribbling adds the value and undoubtedly will be a murky signing for the Gunners.

Barcelona are also reported to be interested in him but the North London side have the upper hand. Arsenal signed another Lyon player at the start of this season, and it was Alexandre Lacazette.
