Injury and Team News:

Gunners are without Santi Cazorla who has a long term injury. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also unavailable to play being cup tied, while Alexandre Lacazette misses out with an injury as well. Pep Guardiola’s City will miss the services of Fabian Delph, who was sent off in their last game against Wigan in the FA Cup. City’s quadruple hopes evaporated after their FA Cup loss against Wigan, and now their title winning aspects can be halved if Arsenal win at the Wembley on Sunday. The Premier League leaders have had a breathtaking season so far, but some recent stutters have suggested that they are beatable as well.

Arsenal, on the other hand have a realistic chance of the only domestic silverware to win this season. They have been superb at the Wembley in the past few years, winning 9 of their 9 knock out fixtures at the venue. Arsene Wenger will bank on the history and belief that his side can turn it around against a strong City side, whom they also beat last season in the FA Cup Semi Final. The North London side also have never won a League Cup under Wenger, so it will be a nice thing to win a silverware as well in a difficult season so far.
