Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey says that they know how to win at the Wembley ahead of their League Cup Final against Manchester City.
Ramsey spoke to Arsenal’s website and emphasized that they will put up a good show against City and they have previous experiences at the Wembley which will help them.
“We’ve got another final now on Sunday, so that’s something that I’m going to really look forward to,” Ramsey told Arsenal Player.
“We’re going back to Wembley again and you want something to show for every season. This is an opportunity to definitely do that,” he added. Ramsey himself has scored two Cup winning goals at Wembley in 2014 and 2017, that won Gunners the FA Cups twice. He also netted in a Community Shield match in 2014 against the same oppositions.
Ramsey scored in the 2017 FA Cup Final against Chelsea
Manchester City are in terrific form and at the moment they are also the league leaders Keeping that in mind, there won’t a room for mistake for the Gunners side which has been shaky this season.
The Welshman believes that although City are a strong side, Arsenal are capable to exploit their weaknesses and if the gameplan works for them, there is a massive chance that Arsenal will win the League Cup for the first time under Wenger.
Arsenal made a trip at the Wembley earlier this month but were beaten by Spurs in the League, but apart from that the North London side have won their last nine matches at the Wembley and have won 3 FA Cups and 3 Community Shields here in the last four years. It has to be seen how Wenger’s men play in the big final which remains to be their only chance of domestic silverware this season.
