FA Cup: Full list of Quarter Finals Draw and A recap of the 5th Round

Manchester United are one short of FA Cup glories than Arsenal.


FA Cup Quarter Finals draw have been made as the prestigious tournament now reaches the business end with a lot of surprises on the fold.

FA Cup 5th Round:

The 5th round of the FA Cup was played on the previous week and some of the most astonishing results have come out of the ties.

The match of the round must have been Rochdale’s amazing comeback against Tottenham to earn a replay, while the result of the round was Wigan’s victory of current Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Will Grigg scored for the League 1 side to give the Latics a huge win over Manchester City, thus ending their quadruple hopes. Third tier club Rochdale also earned a massive result against another Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspurs and that has earned them a trip to Wembley.

Manchester United and Chelsea won their respective games.

Quarter Finals Draw:

In the Quarter Finals Draw, Manchester United are going to host fellow Premier League side Brighton while there will be another all Premier League clash as Leicester play against Chelsea at the Midlands.

The winners of the games between Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday and Spurs and Rochdale will face each other while the winners of the first game playing at home.

The only non Premier League side confirmed in the FA Cup Wigan will be at home against Southampton. The third tier club have been Semi Finalists in 2014 where they lost against Arsenal, but won the FA Cup a couple years earlier, at the expense of Manchester City.

The matches will be played over the weekend from 16th to 19th March.
