A classic encounter awaits at the Emirates as Arsenal host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday. The transfer window is done and Gunners will be eyeing to resurrect their league form.
Injury and Team News:
The Gunners without Santi Cazorla and Danny Welbeck. Jack Wilshere was ill but is expected to take part. New signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to start while Aubameyang is doubtful. Gunners will go with their four men back line and Meditation Ozil will be playing the attacking midfield role, after recently signing the new contract.
For the Toffees, Fines More is out with knee and Babies also out with calf injuries. James McCarthy was horribly injured and his broken leg means he is also out till the start of next season. Theo Walcott will be playing against his old team and it will be a nostalgic moment for him.
Calvert Lewin is poised to start up front as well.
Arsenal have been excellent at their home and the Gunners boss will be hoping that a frantic January and some massive changes in their squad will re energise his team. They are 8 points of top four and the French manager said that getting back to a top four spot is their main aim.
Walcott and Rooney at the other hand will have other ideas as the former can come back and haunt his old manager. The signing of Aubameyang and the contract extension of Mesut Ozil has been inspiring and now they will have to replicate it at the pitch.
