Tottenham vs Manchester United : Preview, Lineups, Betting odds and Live streaming

Jose Mourinho will have a tough test against the attacking lineup of Tottenham Hotspur.

The mouth-watering clash of Tottenham vs Manchester United is surely going to excite all football fans out there, for this might effectively end Jose Mourinho’s hope of still beating Manchester City to the coveted title.

In the reverse leg, even after playing defensively, United managed to get three points, thanks to some brilliant goalkeeping from David De Gea and a late winner from Anthony Martial. However, at this moment, Tottenham are flying high. Especially, Harry Kane has been in an amazing form and he, along with Heung Min Son, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, can run riot over the Red Devils defense.

Tottenham vs Manchester United – team news:

Spurs captain Hugo Lloris missed the last Premier League outing and he is still ill. Considering that this fixture is going to be very crucial, Maurico Pochettino will desperately want him to lead from the front. Defenders Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld, and midfielder Harry Winks will definitely miss Wednesday’s match. Eric Lamela and Serge Aurier are also doubtful, and with the able backups in the lineup, they are not expected to feature in the starting lineup.

However, biggest worry for Pochettino will be the illness of Eriksen who plays a pivotal role in the attack. He might have to miss this match, and if that happens, Moussa Sissoko will be expecting to slot in. Here is the expected home lineup for the Tottenham vs Manchester United extravaganza.

For Mourinho, there are less injury concerns. Other than Eric Bailly, Daley Blind and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, everyone else should be available. The side have been boosted with the inclusion of their new signing Alexis Sanchez. He should start his first Premier League game in United jersey. The boss gave him some game-time in the FA Cup fixture againast Yeovil Town last week. Needless to say, Sanchez was brilliant in that game. It will be interesting to see who has to make way for the Chilean. Given the form Martial and Lingard are in, chances are high it will be Juan Mata.

There should not be any other significant change from the expected lineup, which is as follows.

Key players:

The away team will be riding high on Sanchez and Paul Pogba. They have to feed delicious balls to Lukaku and co so that they can continue to put pressure on the Spurs defense. For the home side, none other than Harry Kane is going to be the success. Kieran Trippier will  also have to play an important role in the right back, as most United attacks will probably come from the left side, thanks to Martial and Sanchez.

It will be a very challenging game of football. Our verdict goes in favour of the visitors, and we predict another narrow 1-0 win for Manchester United.
