Preview and Team News:

South Africa will be aiming for a continuation of their recent dominance at home. India generally have been abysmal in away tours but they put up a good fight in the test Series. The Proteas are currently 1st in ODI ranking while India are 2nd, so it promises to be a potential tough battle between the two sides. India also are a much changed side while the hosts will bank on their blend of youth and experience. Kingsmead has been a happy hunting ground for the Indians as the history says. The support for the men in blue will be present and it has to be seen how they respond against the mighty Africans.

India have MS Dhoni back in the side while their young spinning stars Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are also available for selection. It has to be seen whether Manish Pandey or Shreyas Iyer get the nod, but India most probably will be eyeing to go with three front line seamers with Hardik Pandya being the fourth option.

AB de Villiers is out for the first three ODIs with a back injury which is a big blow for them. Lungi Ngidi can also be handed debut as he performed exceedingly well in the test Series.
