FA Cup 5th Round Draw: Who faces whom and match details

Manchester United have won 12 FA Cup titles.



The Emirates FA Cup draw for the 5th Round has been done on Monday with sixteen teams in fight for the prestigious glory.

Fourth Round at a glance:

Four of the top six Premier League clubs are in contention to take part in the 5th Round. Manchester United won convincingly against Yeovil while their neighbors and current league leaders Manchester City were victorious against Cardiff. Chelsea won against Newcastle but Spurs were held by 4th tier club Newport and will play the replay. Liverpool lost 2-3 at home against West Brom, while the holders Arsenal departed in the 3rd round after a loss in the hands of Nottingham Forest.


Fifth Round:

Chelsea are at home against Hull City, the Tigres were in the 2014 final but lost against Arsenal. Manchester United will make a trip to either Huddersfield or Birmingham as they play out a replay. City will be facing Wigan Athletic and it is a repeat of the 2013 FA Cup final, the Latics shocked the world and won that match 1-0 five years ago.

The matches will be played on 17th and 18th February.

West Brom v Southampton

Chelsea v Hull

Leicester v Sheffield United

Huddersfield or Birmingham v Manchester United

Millwall or Rochdale v Newport County or Tottenham

Brighton v Coventry

Wigan v Manchester City



  • Arsenal are not in the FA Cup 5th Round after a gap of 8 years. They are also the most successful club with 13 FA Cup Championships.
  • Spurs have never won the FA Cup since 1991. They have never been in the Final of the competition as well since their win some 27 years ago.
  • Newport and Notts County are the lowest ranked clubs alive in the competition, but both will have to overcome tough replay ties to advance to the next round.
