Antonio Conte has been looking to add some fire power at the front who can compliment Alvaro Morata, and also a defender at the back, especially left back. The Chelsea boss has said to be wanting some competition for Marcos Alonso at the left back position. There were reports of him eyeing a move for the Roma duo but it has taken some positive steps in the last couple of days.

Goal has reported that the Premier League Champions can complete a deal for the Brazilian defender within the next 48 hours. Emerson Palmieri talks started from last week as his agent also set a meeting with the Chelsea executives, but the deal has progressed significantly in the last couple of days with the report that the 23 year old has already agreed personal terms with the Blues that will see him at the Stamford Bridge until 2022. Palmieri’s representatives are happy with terms for the Brazil youth International to move to Stamford Bridge and are just waiting for the clubs to finalize their fee and confirm the deal.

Along with Palmieri, Edin Dzeko will also be coming at the London club as it is reported. Roma are demanding a fee around £50 million for the duo and the Bosnia and Herzegovina striker is a part of the deal.

The former Manchester City striker also indicated his will to play for Chelsea and said that the only club he will leave Roma for is The Blues.

Edin Dzeko will also be seeking pastures new at Stamford Bridge if the deal happens

But there can be potential agony for the Chelsea fans as Sky in Italy report that the Serie A club want £44.4 million plus £8.8 million in add ons which Chelsea hasn’t agreed yet, so the deal can break down if something decisive is not sorted out.
