The French manager also hailed the Armenian’s versatility as a player as he can play both in midfield and as winger or second striker if needed. So the veteran Frenchman believes that it has been a good move for Arsenal.

He also added, “He’s a very complete player. He creates chances, he defends well, he can absorb distances and he’s very committed as well. I must say he’s a player who has all the attributes. Maybe where he’s a bit short is on goal-scoring but he has improved that. If you look at the number of goals he’s scored in his career, it’s quite impressive overall.”
Wenger also thinks that Mkhitaryan will provide the experience and class Arsenal require along with their flamboyant young blend in the team to reach the next level.
