Jack Wilshere wants to stay at Arsenal and transfer talks are going, said Arsene Wenger on Thursday.
The Gunners midfielder have been amid speculations of transfer on his last year of contract, but there has been positive from the North London side regarding Wilshere’s future and it seems the 26 year old set to stay at his boyhood club.

He has recently overcome his injury setback and has slowly cemented his place in the Arsenal squad and has been one of the top players for the Gunners, if not the best in recent weeks.
A club source told Evening Standard that Jack Wilshere is Arsenal through and through and wants to be Arsenal’s captain next season. Wenger also admitted that both the parties want a contract extension and it will happen with agreeing the suitable terms for the player.
With admitting that Arsenal’s Chilean Alexis Sanchez can join Manchester United, Wenger also cleared that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be part of the deal and will come to North London. But apart from that, there is nothing concrete at the moment in terms of players coming in, the French manager confirmed.
He declined that there is any chance of Arsenal signing Malcom in this January from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux. Incidentally Bordeaux president recently that it will be very hard for any club to snatch the Brazilian away in the winter.
Arsene Wenger also kept his reply quite inconclusive when he was asked about Aubameyang, as there has been reports that Arsenal are working hard to bring the Borussia Dortmund ace as Alexis Sanchez replacement.
