Injury and Team News:

The Gunners have the likes of Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil back from their injury lay offs, hence the only long term out is now Santi Cazorla. With the likes of Sanchez leaving, it is to be seen if Ozil starts, also Maitland Niles is out with a flu and Kolasinac is expected to start on Saturday. Giroud is also a week away from coming back to the squad.

Palace is without long-term injured defenders Mamadou Sakho and Scott Dann and Hodgson looks likely to go with a front three of Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako. Among the injured players, Puncheon and Dann are also having serious knee injuries to keep themselves out.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal need to win, simply win. They are without a victory in 2018 and badly need to get all the three points to keep their top four hopes alive. The Eagles have spring into life under Roy Hodgson and currently placed 12th in the table, will be eyeing to get a crack at the shaky Gunners side.

The North London team have scored in the past 25 games at Emirates, and has lost only once, so their supporters will be hoping to see a better version of Arsenal this time. Sanchez less life will be another thing they will have to deal with, but speculations of Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan should surely boost their spirit.

Match Facts:

  • Gunners are with a solitary league win at Emirates in their last four matches, as they drew against Liverpool and Chelsea, lost against Man United.
  • Gunners have only lost once in their last 16 encounters against Crystal Palace.
  • The last meet between these two teams saw Alexis Sanchez score a brace at the Selhurst Park earlier this season.
