Harry Kane scored a hat-trick and is a natural choice in our team of the week.

Harry Kane is a good option to make your Fantasy Premier League captain

Big teams except Manchester United managed to get easy victories in game week 20. Manchester City, in particular, continued their blistering form and maintained the unbeaten run to extend the lead to 15 points at the top of the Premier League table.

There were many phenomenal performances, especially in the light of the fact that a total of 30 goals were scored in the game week 20. Quite expectedly, it is very difficult to choose a top eleven from the hoard of exceptional performers. We are going with a 4-3-2-1 formation and here are our picks for the team of the week from game week 20.

Jordan Pickford (EVE) was one of the four goalkeepers who maintained clean sheet this week. But, his performance was best of the lot. Not only he made three astounding saves throughout the match, but he also instilled a sense of confidence in his defensive partners and that helped them see the match through.

Center backs:

In the heart of the defense, Ahmed Hegazi (WBA) performed brilliantly, with as many as eight important clearances. Ashley Williams (EVE) was the best defender for his team, with 3 interceptions, 7 clearances and 2 match-saving tackles. Mathias Jorgensen and Christopher Schindler performed well for Huddersfield, while Kurt Zouma provided the necessary support for Stoke City in the same match. Gary Cahill was also very good for Chelsea and is another candidate for this position. Nathan Ake (BOU), on the other hand, scored a goal and provided an assist. But, we are going with Hegazi and Williams in our team for game week 20.

Wing backs:

In the right back, Craig Dawson (WBA) and Kyle Walker (MCI) were very good for their teams, but it can be said beyond doubt that Liverpool youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold stole the show this week. He displayed brilliant defensive prowess in the right back, and then capped that performance with a spectacular goal as well. In the left flank, we are choosing another goal-scorer, someone who has scored in numerous games this season. And it is none other than Marcos Alonso. Other than him, Danilo (MCI) and Chris Lowe (HUD) were decent performers in the same position this week.

Although Kevin de Bruyne (MCI) and Cesc Fabregas (CHE) did not essentially took the role of conventional defensive midfielders this week, they are certainly the bests in the business; and their game week 20 performances can bear the proof of this.

De Bruyne was the architect for most Manchester City attacks. He made four key passes, one of which helped Raheem Sterling score the solitary goal of the match. The Belgian also took as many as six shots himself and hit the post on one such occasion as well. Fabregas, on the other hand, took 2 shots and sent as many as seven key passes. He also showed his defensive abilities with valuable clearances and interceptions. The Spaniard has most definitely found his old form and is a natural candidate for our game week 20 team of the week.

In the attack, Tottenham duo Heung Min Son and Dele Alli were exceptional and each had one goal and two assists to their names. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho (1 goal and 1 assist) and Mo Salah (2 assists) continued their brilliant run as well, while Huddersfield players Collin Quaner (1 assist) and Tom Ince (1 goal) played a great game against Stoke City. Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard came at the half time as a substitute and scored a brace to draw the game for his side. Eden Hazard (CHE) and Sterling (MCI) were brilliant as well. So, by far, it has been the most difficult task to choose the third midfielder. In the end, we are going with Coutinho as the third of our midfield trio.

Harry Kane is most certainly the automatic choice in our team of the week for game week 20. He scored yet another hat trick and made a new record for the most number of goals in a calendar year. Along with him, Marco Arnautovic (WHU) and Alexis Sanchez (ARS) will be our choices.

Playing as a makeshift striker, Arnautovic scored a brace to help his team snatch a point against Bournemouth. Sanchez, on the other hand, scored two goals when his side were level at 1-1. Both goals were very good, and they helped Arsenal get three points against Crystal Palace. Roberto Firmino (LIV) and Alvaro Morata (CHE) were other top forwards this week, but they could not make the cut, considering the importance of the goals from Arnautovic and Alexis.
