Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette has been up and running in his new surroundings already but a hectic Christmas and New year period looming large for him as there will be some big matches between the Christmas Eve and New Year.
Alexandre spoke to Arsenal’s official website and says that he is prepared for his first Christmas in London.
“One of the reasons I came to London was so I could experience this period,” Lacazette told Arsenal. “They’ve given me quite a few tips on nutrition, on how to be careful and get a lot of rest. They also told me how, despite it all, I should enjoy time with my nearest and dearest because often, people who are close to you come to London during this time.”
The former Lyon man is first time out of France in his professional career and expects his parents and brothers to join him in London and he fancies a good stay out with them for the festive period.

Back in France, there is a break during the festive period and only in England the schedules stretch big time during this time of the year. But Lacazette says that he was so keen to experience that when he saw Premier League on TV back in France.
“When every weekend you watch the Premier League, you tell yourself, one day why not? You think about one day feeling that atmosphere and experiencing that time in December, experiencing a season in the Premier League and knowing what it’s like.”
Lacazette has netted 3 times for France
The France international will have a huge part to play in Arsenal’s busy period as Olivier Giroud is out with a hamstring injury. Arsenal’s rush starts with a home match against Liverpool on Friday night and then there will be trips to Crystal Palace and West brom before new year while their first match in 2018 will be another home clash against Chelsea.
