Manchester City are at home against Spurs in a crunch tie on Saturday as Pep Guardiola’s flying team will be hoping to continue their winning streak going against the North London side.

Injury and Team News:

City are without Vincent Kompany, Benjamin Mendy and John Stones, the defensive trio who are recovering from injury problems. Leroy Sane and Kyle Walker are both expected to start as they were rested in the midweek at the trip to Swansea. Ederson is expected to be the choice ahead of Bravo and may be Gabriel Jesus will come back to the side as the man up front.

The away side are without new signing Davinson Sanchez as the defender is in a three match ban. Also Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld are still out with their injury concerns. Eric Dier is expected to pair Vertonghen at the back and it has to be seen whether Heung Min Son starts. Dembele and Dele Alli are also expected to start ahead of Sissoko and Lamela.

City are currently the team to beat as they are 15 games winning streak just looks to be set for some more. Pep Guardiola’s men are beating everybody but Spurs have had a good record against them. Tottenham on the other side are 4th in the table after their midweek win over Brighton. Pochettino is expected to go back to his four men back line formation and stop City. Spurs themselves are currently on a 3 match winning streak in all competitions and have been unbeaten against City in the last four matches.
