Arsenal vs Newcastle United: Preview, Team News and Probable Line Up, Betting Odds and TV Guide

The last win at the Emirates for Newcastle was in 2011.

After two disappointing away outings, Arsenal will be hoping to get their act right at home as they welcome Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday. Arsene’s men are in dire need of a win and it will be pivotal for them against a struggling Newcastle side.

Injury and Team News:

Arsenal will be without the services of Santi Cazorla and Shkodran Mustafi may also be missing. It is understood that Aaron Ramsey is fit for the encounter but Wilshere may get the nod ahead of the Welshman. Wenger went back to conventional four men back line in the midweek against West Ham and may remain with that on Saturday. Lacazette is expected to start ahead of Giroud and Sead Kolasinac can be playing at the left back position instead of Maitland Niles.

Benitez will be without Jonjo Shelvey for the game in the capital after the midfielder was sent off for two yellow cards against Everton. Isaac Hayden could come back into the starting lineup against his former club, while Joselu may start ahead of Gayle. They otherwise don’t have any major injury setbacks.

Arsenal are in need of a win to get themselves back on track in the top four battle. They have drawn both at Southampton and West Ham and are without a win in the last three matches. Wenger will know the importance of a win on Saturday and the Magpies are also on a torrid run of form as they have lost last 7 of their eight league games. The promoted side last won the league in October and since then have been going downwards and now just a point above relegation zone. Manager Rafa Benitez will be really concerned about their recent run and will be trying to get something out of this game.
