Injury and Team News:

Jose Fonte remains the only long-term absentee and James Collins could return from a hamstring injury in time for Arsenal’s visit. Adrian has been decent in goal and that may mean further time on bench for Joe Hart. David Moyes will most likely be looking for an unchanged side that beat Chelsea. Kouyate and Byram will also be missing due to injury problems. It has to be seen whether fit again Javier Hernandez gets a start or not.

Arsenal are without  Santi Cazorla but both Shkodran Mustafi and Aaron Ramsey will be having fitness tests. Mustafi has a thigh problem while Ramsey suffered a hamstring problem at the trip to Southampton. Ramsey’s absence may lead way for Wilshere to start who has been fantastic for the Gunners in the recent past. Lacazette is expected to start but Giroud has also been knocking on the door after some good performances off the bench. Wenger is expected to go with a three men backline but either of Rob Holding or Calum Chambers may start if Mustafi is not fit.

Arsenal are currently 5th in the Premier League table and need to win to boost their chances for a top four finish. The Gunners away form this season has been awful and Wenger’s men will be aiming to overturn the odds. The Irons are still in the relegation zone but new boss David Moyes has been instrumental for them as they beat champions Chelsea in the last game. Arsenal won 5-1 last season at the London Stadium but it has to be seen whether the rejuvenated hammers under David Moyes can inflict another away defeat for Arsenal or not.
