Champions League: Liverpool vs Spartak Moscow Preview, Team News, Betting Odds and TV Guide

Liverpool are high in confidence following back to back away wins ahead of their Anfield encounter against Spartak Moscow.

Liverpool are on cloud nine following their 5-1 Premier League victory against Brighton &  Hove Albion at AMEX Stadium despite injury concerns and Jurgen Klopp’s successful squad rotation will keep the Reds fresh ahead of two crucial home outings against Champions League counterparts Spartak Moscow and Merseyside rivals Everton.

However, the outing against the Russian champions is certainly the more important one in order to qualify for the Round of 16 of this elite European competition and their shambolic surrender despite leading 3-0 at Sevilla in previous outing has made this fixture even more relevant in qualification’s context. It’s a must win game for Spartak Moscow, whereas anything but a defeat will seal a knockout berth for the Merseysiders.
