Injury and Team News:

Arsenal will be missing Alexandre Lacazette after he suffered a thigh problem in the midweek against Huddersfield. Also Santi Cazorla is another player who will be an absentee as he underwent another surgery earlier this week. Giroud is a choice up front as the Frenchman scored two goals last match, but Welbeck may also be given a start given his superior pace. The trio of Mustafi, Koscielny and Monreal at the back has done well for the Gunners and Ozil has been in sublime form.

United are without Bailly and Phil Jones who are out with groin and thigh problems respectively. Marouane Fellaini is also another who will miss because of a knee problem, while Carrick and Matic are doubtful because of match fitness issues. Ashley Young is set to start at left back instead of Darmian and Mata may come back in the side as well. Either Lukaku or fit again Ibrahimovich may start up front.

Preview:

Gunners are within four points of United and Arsene Wenger’s men are back in their usual top four hunt. It will be a battle of brains between Wenger and Mourinho but the Gunners have been daunting at the Emirates this season, winning all the league games so far. Lacazette’s absence can be telling but Wenger will be banking on Giroud to score goals. Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil ran the show last time around and Gunners will be hoping the duo to shine again. United lost here last season and Mourinho’s men have been a bit shaky in the past weeks, so it will be a big test for them.
