Transfer Rumors: Juventus keeping close tabs on Liverpool FC’s potential signing

Juventus are the latest side who are plotting a move for potential Liverpool target Virgil Van Dijk.

According to latest reports, Dutch international Virgil Van Dijk, who has been linked with Premier League club Liverpool FC also seems to be in talks with Italian champions Juventus FC and could potentially be on his way to Italy.

The Serie A Champions could make a shock transfer bid for the Southampton defender and could potentially steal him from the grips of Liverpool FC.

Van Dijk himself seems to be keen on leaving Southampton FC, despite Soton’s desire to keep the Netherlands player and refusing to sell him over the course of the summer transfer window.

Following interest from various Premier League clubs such as Liverpool FC, Manchester United, and Chelsea FC; Van Dijk decided to hand over his transfer request to Southampton and now seems keen on leaving The Saints.

The 26-year-old hopes to leave the St. Mary’s when the transfer window re-opens in January 2018.

Juventus, on the other hand, are still yet to replace Leonardo Bonucci, who was sold by The Old Lady to AC Milan, earlier in the year.

It has also been reported that the Italian giants could possibly initiate talks with Southampton in order to make a potential deal for Van Dijk.

However, Liverpool FC also retain a strong interest in bringing in Van Dijk and almost landed Van Dijk to Anfield last summer.

Klopp’s team are also in a desperate need of bringing in a center back in their squad and the former Celtic FC defender still remain as their ideal man.

Liverpool’s big rivals, Chelsea FC are also interested in the former Celtic player and have been keeping tabs on the player for a while now. Conte’s side could make a move for Van Dijk in January.

Van Dijk has been one of the most important and influential players in the Southampton squad. The Dutch international joined The Saints back in 2015 and has been rock solid in the team’s defensive unit.
