The Gunners boss said at the start of the season that both Ozil and Sanchez will see their contract out at Arsenal and when he was asked whether there is a possibility that Ozil or Sanchez will leave in January, the Gunners boss dismissed those speculations and stated that they will stay.

“Yes, of course,” Wenger said. “In a press conference, you’re always confronted with many speculations over the psychological state of transfers but for me, they’ll stay until the end of the season. That’s what I decided at the start of the season.

In my head, they stay until the end of the season and that’s a decision that was taken at the start of the season. Unless something unbelievable happens, I can’t see why that would change,” he added.

Arsene Wenger said that he wants both the players to stay next season but the players also play a part in their decisions and so it is to be seen what happens and says that it is impossible to say at the moment whether both the Chilean and German will stay at Emirates beyond this season.

Wenger also believes that Alexis Sanchez will play a huge part in Arsenal’s season this term and believes that the Gunners still can be in the title picture if they continue their good work in the league.

“He can go individually, he can score from a distance and he can create chances as well. Certainly, most of it is down to his individual quality.” he added on Sanchez.
