Premier League, like every other gameweek, has witnessed a few spectacular goals this weekend. Here, we have tried to figure out the best of them.

3.) Steven Davies (Southampton FC) vs Everton FC:

The Saints went back to winning ways after last week’s 0-3 loss at Anfield with a 4-1 thrashing of fellow Merseyside club Everton. The fourth and the final goal for the hosts was a top goal. James Ward-Prowse expertly controlled Cedric Soares’ ball before he found his skipper outside just outside the penalty box. Davies’ first touch set him up nicely to hit a right-footed curler onto the far corner. As many as 8 Toffees‘ defenders were in around the box when the ball got into the net.

2.) Gylfi Sigurðsson(Everton FC) vs Southampton FC:

Sunday’s clash at the St. Mary’s saw another world class goal being scored. Everton’s equalizing goal was a stunner from Iceland star Sigurðsson. Holding onto Calvert Lewin’s ball, the skilled winger ran into the middle from the right appearing to take it with his left. But a swift turn at the last moment canceled out Virgil Van Dijk and Steven Davies’ involvement as both went the other way and lost footing. The Everton man then launched a brilliant right-footer that saw it dipping at the very last moment to catch the under side of the crossbar, onto the left post, again onto the under side of the bar and then going in.

1.) Xherdan Shaquiri(Stoke City) vs Crystal Palace:

Our goal for the week came from The ‘Alpine Messi’ in Stoke’s visit to Selhurst Park. After Wilfred Zaha was dispossessed by Allen, Ryan Shawcross found Shaquiri just inside the half. The Swiss superstar started his run and got better of Luka Milivojevic, a retreating Jeffrey Schlupp, Mamadou Sakho and an onrushing Joel Ward before his left-footer crashed into the Palace net right from the edge of the penalty area giving no chance to goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
