Arsenal travel to Germany to face FC Koln in their Europa League encounter on Thursday and Arsene Wenger’s men will be eyeing to seal their top status in the group with a win against the struggling German side.
Injury and Team News:
Koln are without Jonas Hector and centre back Dominic Heintz, while Simon Zoller also missing with a hamstring injury. Christian Clemens will also take no part as he has adductor problems. Colombian Jhon Cordoba is expected to start and he scored a long range stunner in the return fixture at the Emirates.
For the Gunners, Theo Walcott is ill and he misses the trip but a whole lot of young players have been included in the squad. Olivier Giroud is fit and he will feature while Arsene Wenge will have to decide whether academy keeper Matt Macey or fit again David Ospina will start in Germany. Danny Welbeck is set to have some time on pitch as he has recovered from injury, and Jack Wilshere is also set to play on Thursday.

Arsenal will just need a point to secure their top spot in the group and Arsene Wenger will be hoping for a continued run of momentum after their fantastic win over Spurs last week. There is a lot of change in the squad but it will surely be a competitive eleven to take on the struggling Koln side, who are at the bottom of the Bundesliga table this season. The home side will also need a win to keep their hopes alive of making it to the knockout stages of the Europa League.
