Arsenal will host the high rising Tottenham in an intriguing North London Derby on Saturday that promises to be a crucial tie for the Gunners. Arsenal are currently four points behind their bitter rivals and an early kick off is ready to set the tune for the Premier League weekend.
Arsenal will be missing Olivier Giroud as he had a thigh injury while playing for France. Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck are both doubtful while Santi Cazorla is a long term absentee.
For Spurs, Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama remain out with hamstring and knee problems respectively while Harry Kane and Dele Alli will have late inspections. Harry Winks and Hugo Lloris who are struggling with ankle and groin problems respectively, will also be assessed.
For the Gunners, Alexandre Lacazette is expected to start and Petr Cech will be the usual custodian. Ozil and Sanchez also are fit to start and it will be a three men back most likely with Koscielny, Mertesacker and Monreal.
Lacazette and Alexis will be crucial for the Gunners
For the visitors, they will be also with a three men defense and Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eriksen, their attacking trio are expected to feature.
Arsenal have had early season stutters already and it is a massive game for both Arsenal and Arsene Wenger. A loss here will rise the unrest into a new level and the players need to deliver.
For Tottenham, they have had a bright start in the league and also in the Champions League. Pochettino also haven’t lost a North London Derby and will be eyeing to emulate the same at Emirates on Saturday.
Kane has been in sublime form this season
The season is still a long way to go, but Arsenal need a positive vibe in the club and nothing can be better than a victory over Spurs to bring some spring in the club.
