“I think Tottenham is a good side but we have the quality to win this game and that is what we want to show.”

He also said a big no when the question was asked whether the tide was turning in favor of Spurs in North London.

“There is always pride involved, a desire to beat your opponent,” he said.

“You need to have full commitment, but as well be lucid enough and calm enough to focus on the game.

Arsenal have failed to beat Spurs in the last three seasons at the Emirates

“It is one of the fixtures of course that is very important for us and that you want to win. Basically as well, in the table, we have to make some ground up with the top teams,” he added.

The Arsenal boss has a superb record in North London derby and he says that the desire will drive his team through on Saturday while the home support is also another advantage of the Gunners, who are four points behind Spurs in the league this season.

Spurs also finished ahead of Arsenal in the league last season, that was the first time Arsenal were shadowed by Tottenham since Arsene Wenger took charge at the helm.

An in form Lacazette will be key for Gunners

Arsenal already have lost four times this season and can’t afford to loose anymore as a loss will take them potentially 15 points behind leaders Manchester City. Spurs on the other hand are third in the table and will be eyeing a win at their bitter rivals’ ground on Saturday.
