Wilshere must leave Arsenal – says Ighalo

Jack Wilshere has been a regular in the cup matches for the Gunners but he has seen so little in the league as Arsene Wenger still thinks the 25 year old not completely ready for the Premier League and is close to making it. Wilshere has so far played two league games, both as a late substitute against Everton and Man City respectively.

And the midfielder has been ignored by England manager Gareth Southgate for lack of his playing time in the league. And the Nigerian striker thinks that he must leave his boyhood club for his own benefit.

Speaking to Premier League Daily, the former Hornets man said, “For him to get more games and to be ready for the World Cup, he has to play more so if he’s still there and he’s not getting the opportunities to play, I’d advise him to leave.”

He also added that Jack is a superb player and he just can’t be sitting on the bench ahead of the World Cup year. He believes that if he doesn’t get game time at Arsenal, he will get that in any other big Premier League big teams.

Ighalo left Watford in January to join Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai after himself complaining about not playing regularly for the Hornets, but he still speaks highly about his former employers.
