Manchester United to include two surprising names in Champions League squad against Benfica

Manchester United could include youngster Axel Tuanzebe and injury-ridden defender Luke Shaw in their upcoming midweek Champions League match against Benfica at the Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have won each of their matches in the European rivalry till now and will have the Portuguese Champions in a match where a win could seal their chance into the following round.

What’s more, as indicated by an insight from United’s reserve team captain Joey Riley, some of the youngsters from the u23 side could be called into the first team squad against Benfica.

Two prominent players were omitted from the Under-23 arrange against Sunderland on Sunday evening, in which United won 1-0 because of a Demetri Mitchell goal and it is trusted that those two are Luke Shaw and Tuanzebe who could make into the senior squad of Champions League match.

The United reserve team’s Captain Riley expressing about before-mentioned probability said: “Obviously we’ve got the game on Tuesday night and a few of the lads are playing in that.

“So some of the younger lads came in and did well.”
