VIDEO : Bournemouth vs Chelsea Highlights, Match Stats and Review

Chelsea are now back on track after a series of dismal outings and a slow start. Pressure piles on Eddie Howe and his Bournemouth side.

The Blues from the West London have secured their third consecutive victory in all competition following their 1-0 away win against AFC Bournemouth.

Chelsea man-in-charge Antonio Conte has been undergoing too much pressure with his present situation at the club and it has been catalysed by his latest press conference. But this win has definitely provided him enough boost ahead of facing the Italian side A.S. Roma on Wednesday in the Champions League fixture. Chelsea started the game in a very positive manner creating lots of chances. But all the opportunities went in vain following the brilliance of ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and failures of Chelsea forwards Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard.

The only goal of the game came in the 51st minute in the second half, when the star man Eden Hazard received a ball from the Spaniard Alvaro Morata and beat the defenders with his pace only. Later on, he sent the ball past the keeper from the near post. The Bournemouth keeper can be held responsible for this goal, but the Belgian international’s brilliance can also not be denied. With the result, Chelsea remains at the fourth place on the table creating pressure on the league Leaders Manchester United and Manchester City. Whereas, Bournemouth remains at the nineteenth position with only 7 points so far.
