Arsenal came back from a goal down to win it 2-1 against Swansea in the Premier League on Emirates and it was an auspicious day as it was Arsene Wenger’s 800th Premier League game in charge of Arsenal.

But another milestone moment has been achieved, and it has been achieved by Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, who scored his 50th goal for the club today when Kolasinac threaded him in the box and he beat Fabianski in the near post. With that, Aaron becomes the 19th player under Arsene Wenger to score 50 goals for Arsenal.

Aaron Ramsey is one of the longest serving members of this Arsenal squad and he was pretty ecstatic about the milestone goal.

Scoring moment of Ramsey

“I’m delighted to reach 50 goals for this club,” he said afterwards. “Hopefully there’s a few more to come yet.”
The Wales midfielder also added that being a part in the win of the team was very important for him and he is happy that the team have come away with all three points against a resilient Swansea side. Ramsey admitted the visitors quality and lauded his teammates to stick in and find a way through in the game. Overall it maintains Arsenal’s cent percent win record at home this season and that also pleases the Welshman.

“We have quality players throughout this team and down the left-hand side today, we were more dangerous. We’re delighted to have these sorts of players in the team who can create opportunities and I’m pleased to be a part of that,” the 26 year old added. It was another left sided player Sead Kolasinac who scored and assisted Ramsey’s goal today.

It has been a good start for the Gunners at home this season and after their winless away run, they managed to break the duck at Goodison last week. So Ramsey wants to continue the positive momentum and aims to keep the run going for some time now.
