Arsenal will eye to build up on their recent spring of form when they host Swansea in the Premier League on Saturday. The Gunners last time beat Everton and will be expecting nothing less than three points to push their bid for the title.
Injury and Team News:
Arsenal have no new injuries and the likes of Calum Chambers and Ospina are back in training. Ospina may not be available while the likes of Mustafi and Welbeck are still out. Another absentee is Santi Cazorla as the Spaniard is out for an indefinite time. The trio of Sanchez, Ozil and Lacazette will be back in Arsenal starting line up and it will be Cech who will stand under the Arsenal goal.
Swans on the other hand will miss the service of left back Martin Olsson. Wilfried Bony and Renato Sanches are also out but they are nearing their returns. Olsson absence will mean Kyle Naughton or Angel Rangel playing as left back. In form Tammy Abraham will start as the front man while Lukasz Fabianski, the Swansea goal keeper will return to his former club.
Arsene Wenger’s biggest dilemma will be with the game time of Jack Wilshere. The England midfielder played 114 minutes in the Carabao Cup in midweek and there is a paltry chance that he will start. Wilshere is nearing to his full fitness which is a good signing for the Gunners. The front three teared Everton apart last week and may well cause mayhem again as Arsenal’s SOL (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette) are looking good at their early days.
Wenger’s choice in defense will be another thing to look forward whether he sticks with a back three or plays an extra man in midfield.
