Two major clubs of Premier League – Manchester United and Tottenham – will lock horns against each other in an important tie at Old Trafford on Saturday as the second and third place team will fight for all the three points to keep their title chance intact.
United’s unbeaten run in the Premier League surprisingly came to an end at the hands of newly promoted Huddersfield Town as the Terriers snatched up a valuable 2-1 win over the high flying Red Devils last weekend. Although the team returned to winning routes on the midweek with a 2-0 win away at Swansea in the League Cup by fielding a second string squad, however in a match like such calibre, anything can happen.
On the other hand, Tottenham will be coming to Old Trafford following a pounding 4-1 win against Liverpool at Wembley. The London based side although faced a humiliation in the midweek in the Carabo Cup when they wrote off a 2-goal advantage to the match 2-3 against West Ham but their impressive winning record at away this season is making them one of the favourites for the match.

Manchester United defender Phil Jones could return to the United starting lineup after recovering from the knock sustained against Huddersfield, however, his partner Eric Bailly could still be unavailable for the tie as he just returned to training ahead of the match. Apart from Bailly, Fellaini, Carrick and Pogba will also be out for the match.
On the other hand, Spurs face a big blow ahead of the match as their star forward Kane declared unfit for the match for a hamstring during their victory over Liverpool. Dembele and Wanyama are also doubted for the clash. However, left-back Danny Rose is likely to return to the bench after making a return on Wednesday night in Carabo Cup.
