Spanish outlet Marca first reported that the Gunners are interested in Lozano and monitoring the rising Mexican star who joined dutch side PSV Eindhoven this summer. Lozano so far has had a great start in Eredivisie, scoring 7 goals in seven games. The 22 year old has made a name for himself so quickly and that has attracted many top clubs including Arsenal. He also has garnered 11 goals and assists in his first seven games for the club, which is quite an astonishing stat.

“How long do I play at PSV? I do not know that. I am now 100 per cent focused on the team and hope to play for years. PSV is a beautiful club with fantastic people,” the Mexican replied when he was asked about his future at the club.

Arsenal sent chief scout Steve Rowley earlier and it is reported that he will be handing Wenger the full report of the winger soon. Arsenal’s Sanchez saga has continued and there is a high chance that the Chilean might leave Emirates as early as January. So Lozano will be a good replacement according to pundits as he has already shown that he has the class to play in the highest level.
Wenger may make a move soon for Lozano
Lozano, also known as Chucky has been prolific for his country as well and has netted five times for El Tri already. The former Pachuca teenager is also regarded as one of the upcoming bright prospects of Mexico football and it may well be a big coup for the Gunners.
Reports as TeamTalk suggest that Arsenal are ready to make a £22.5 million bid for him this January.
