Manchester United are in talks with Spanish outfit Valencia for Carlos Soler, according to Daily Mail. Jose Mourinho admires the player and wants him to sign for United next summer.
Carlos Soler is a Spanish U21 international who has had a rapid rise in last two years, since breaking into Valencia’s first team. He is a central midfielder and Mourinho wants to add him next season with the likes of Pogba and Matic. His versatility and control of midfield has attracted interests from top clubs but it seems that the former Real Madrid boss is eyeing to wrap up a deal as early as possible to avoid any bidding wars.
Soler has a £75 million buy out clause
United have Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini out of contract next summer and that may be another reason why the boss wants to add him. Soler is also seen as a huge prospect and someone for the future at Old Trafford.
Though Soler has a £75 million buy out clause, it is understood that the Spanish club Valencia will not hold on to that and accept cash deals due to some of their financial constraints. Los Che will accept something around £35 – £40 million but United are eyeing to open their bid with £30 million.

While asking him about any future move, the Valencia man said, “That’s something that’s done by the club, by agents.”
“When I go out on the pitch to play, I’m not thinking,” he added.
Also the 20 year old is aware of his monumental buy out clause and thinks that he has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.
Apart from that, there are news that United will fight Italian giants Juventus for Jose Gimenez, the Atletico Madrid defender. The 22 year old is also in Mourinho’s precedence list and United may eye him next summer.
Juventus also want the Atletico defender
Uruguayan International Gimenez has a £62 million buy out clause that runs until 2021. Also the player is pretty much settled in Madrid, so a move as early as next summer may be less probable.
